Athleticare Sports Health Foundation is excited to announce that Hailee Ricker will be joining the organization in August as a new Athletic Trainer, bringing a strong academic foundation, diverse clinical experience, and a passion for athlete care and community impact.
Hailee is currently completing her Master’s degree in Athletic Training at Central Methodist University, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree. During her graduate program, she gained valuable hands-on experience across a variety of settings, including high school, collegiate, and orthopedic settings, developing a well-rounded clinical skill set that has prepared her to support athletes at every level.
“I’ve had the opportunity to practice my clinical skills in a variety of settings over the last two years, which has really shaped my approach to care,” Hailee shared. “Each experience has helped me grow and prepared me for this next step.”
Her journey into athletic training was driven by a lifelong connection to sports and a desire to give back. “I chose to become an Athletic Trainer because I have always loved and been involved in sports,” she said. “It’s an amazing way to give back to the communities that shaped me and help people play and stay healthy.”
Hailee was drawn to Athleticare for its people-first culture and commitment to supporting its team. “What stood out to me about Athleticare was the support system,” she said. “I felt that I would be taken care of and valued within the organization.”
As she begins her professional career, Hailee is eager to make an immediate impact. “I’m really looking forward to getting started and working independently to make a positive impact on my athletes,” she said.
She brings with her a holistic philosophy on athlete success, emphasizing the importance of both physical and mental well-being.
“I believe all athletes should prioritize their mental health for long-term success,” Hailee explained. “The mental side of sports is what separates good athletes from great ones. If you don’t prioritize your mental health, it can be hard to reach your goals.”
When it comes to recovery, her advice is simple but essential:
“Stay hydrated and eat well. No matter the injury, your body needs fuel to recover.”
Outside of her professional life, Hailee enjoys staying active and connected with friends—whether that’s playing pickleball, video games, or relaxing at home with her cat.
Athleticare is proud to welcome Hailee to the team and looks forward to the positive energy, care, and expertise she will bring to athletes and the broader community.
