At Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, we are committed to promoting safe sports programs, protecting student athletes, supporting the community, and empowering athletic trainers. Our hope is that by being a resource for these four areas, we can build a safe environment for student athletes across the country.
One of our most important resources is our job board. We believe that it is a powerful tool and are excited to see it put to use. We would like to share a little more information about this feature of our website.
Why Host a Job Board?
We believe that this job board will focus on two key areas: schools and athletic trainers. One of the ways to promote safe sports programs and protect student athletes is to give schools a way to post athletic trainer jobs. Athletic trainers are an essential component in any sports program. Our job board helps increase the access that schools have to these trainers.
We also want to support athletic trainers looking for employment. By hosting a job board, we can increase their access to athletic trainer jobs. Giving athletic trainers a job resources is a big step in connecting these qualified individuals with schools and creating safe sports programs.
What Makes it Unique?
Simply put: everything is free.
It is free to apply for a job through our site and it is free to post a job. We know that this is not a new concept, but we want to decrease the barriers that schools and athletic trainers face when trying to connect. One of the best ways we can do this is to make everything free.
It is also nationally focused. Our job board will contain listings from all over the country, not just St. Louis.
How Does it Work?
Applicants can visit our most recent job postings here. They can explore the listings and apply directly on our website. They also have the option of applying for our fellowship positions, which will qualify them for our sports medicine fellowship program. You can learn more about our fellowship program here.
For schools looking to post a job, you can visit our job posting section here. The main requirement is that the jobs need to be for secondary schools. We review each job posting and once we have checked everything over, we place it on the job board.
Help Us Grow
If you know anyone who is looking to fill a secondary school athletic trainer position, send them our way. Likewise, if you know an athletic trainer who is looking for a job, we would be glad to help.
