Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc. is now accepting applications for our 2023-2024 Fellowship Program and Athletic Training Residency.
The Fellowship Program is a fully-funded post-professional athletic training fellowship that enhances the knowledge and skills of entry-level BOC-certified athletic trainers. Our AT Fellows hone their knowledge and skills through intensive advanced practice in athletic training clinical education programs, secondary school/community college clinical assignment, and enrollment in a master’s or doctoral program through one of our higher education partners. Both our Master’s and Doctoral fellowship programs require the AT Fellow to be BOC eligible and eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri. Fellows will be required to enroll in a graduate program at one of our higher education partners (Concordia University Chicago, Concordia University St. Paul), actively engage in our advanced athletic training clinical education program, and serve as the Head Athletic Trainer at one of our secondary school or community college partners in the Greater St. Louis, MO metropolitan area. The program length for master’s fellows is two years and four years for doctoral fellows. In addition to the requirements listed above, doctoral fellows will have teaching, administration, and research opportunities.
The Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc Fellowship is committed to our fellowship students’ personal and professional development. We also take the growing student debt burden seriously. Fellows receive annual funding valued at $50k per year which does not require additional loans to maintain an acceptable standard of living throughout the Greater Metropolitan St. Louis area. - Free Textbooks and required course materials
- Relocation/moving assistance
