Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc. is now accepting applications for our 2023-2024 Fellowship Program. The fellowship program is a fully-funded post-professional athletic training fellowship that enhances the knowledge and skills of entry-level BOC-certified athletic trainers. Our AT Fellows hone their knowledge and skills through an intensive advanced practices in athletic training clinical education program, secondary school/community college clinical assignment, and enrollment in a master’s or doctoral program through one of our higher education partners.
We are accepting applications for our Master’s and Doctoral fellowship programs. Both programs require the AT Fellow to be BOC-certified, enrollment in a graduate program at one of higher education partners (Concordia University Chicago, Concordia University St. Paul, Rocky Mountain University), satisfactory completion of our clinical education program, and serve as the Head Athletic Trainer at one of our secondary school or community college partners in the Greater St. Louis, MO metropolitan area. The program length for master’s fellows is two years and four years for doctoral fellows. In addition to the requirements listed above, doctoral fellows will have teaching, administration, and research opportunities.
The Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc Fellowship is committed to our fellowship students’ personal and professional development. We also take the growing student debt burden seriously. Fellows receive funding valued at $45k per year which does not require additional loans to maintain an acceptable standard of living throughout the Greater Metropolitan St. Louis area. Our fellows receive:
- Full tuition and fee waivers
- Free Textbooks and required course materials
- Relocation/moving assistance
- Monthly stipend
- Financial support for continuing education activities
- Professional Liability Insurance
- BOC, NATA, and state licensure fees
- Uniform
- Optional: PRN opportunities that range $5-10k per year
