Omar Partida joins Athleticare Sports Health Foundation for his second year as a certified athletic trainer. He is the current athletic trainer at Madison Sr. High School in Illinois. Omar comes from Fresno State University, where he completed his undergraduate course work. While at Fresno State, Omar worked with football, women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s tennis teams. Omar also attended Pasadena City College, where he discovered his passion for athletic training. Omar is from friendly El Monte, located within the Los Angeles area, and plans to head back home after this fellowship with Athleticare Sports Health Foundation. Omar hopes to work at the collegiate level, although his dream job is to work for one of California’s many professional sports teams.

On his spare time, Omar enjoys going to the gym, watching music videos, and reading the comments on Youtube. Omar enjoys playing Fortnite with his best friend, Deion. He also loves spending time with his newly acquired German Shepard.
