Calista Hickman is originally from Holton, Kansas. Holton is a small town. Calista has participated in sports since a very young age. From there, she followed in her parents’ footsteps, attending their alma mater, Kansas State University! Go Cats! This is where Calista found her passion for athletic training. Calista studied athletic training at K-State, where she obtained her B.S. and had the opportunity to work with many K-State sport teams. Calista is currently the Head Athletic Trainer at Brentwood High School and is working towards obtaining a Master of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science. Calista hopes to become an athletic trainer in either the collegiate or secondary school setting after finishing her fellowship with Athleticare Sports Health Foundation.
