About Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc.
Athleticare Sports Health Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to connect under-served schools with sports medicine, empower athletic trainers, protect student-athletes and support communities. We are accepting applications for our Fellowship Program and Athletic Training Residency.
Fully funded graduate fellowship
For entry-level, BOC-certified athletic trainers. Fellows enroll in a graduate program at a partner university — Concordia University Chicago or Concordia University St. Paul. Master's fellows serve two years and doctoral fellows serve four; doctoral fellows also receive teaching, administration and research opportunities.
Fellowship detailsImmersive one-year residency
For entry-level, BOC-certified athletic trainers. Aligned with CAATE standards, with an emphasis on pediatric orthopedics. The residency runs one year, with an option to extend for a second year.
Residency detailsBoth programs require BOC eligibility and eligibility for Missouri licensure. Participants serve as Head Athletic Trainer at a partner secondary school or community college in the Greater St. Louis, MO area. Questions? Email [email protected].
