Mandy is in her second year as an Athleticare athletic training fellow and serves as Head Athletic Trainer at Incarnate Word Academy while working toward a Doctorate in Health and Human Performance at Concordia University Chicago.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, with minors in Biology and Leadership, then stayed on as a graduate assistant for two years while earning her MBA. She worked with men's soccer, basketball, cross country, track and field, volleyball and softball, served as a preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program and taught several classes — which revealed her passion for teaching and led her to Athleticare.
Athleticare lets her keep growing as an athletic trainer while earning a degree that will prepare her to educate future athletic trainers. Outside of work she enjoys slow pitch, baking, reading and walking her dog, Ellie.
