Nikki Fleischmann

Nikki recently graduated from Central Methodist University. She has played sports her whole life and wanted a career that combined sports with helping others. As a high school senior, her athletic trainer let her shadow him — explaining the role, sharing stories from his experience and teaching her to tape athletes — and that set her on the path to athletic training.

Nikki saw Athleticare as the right fit because she connects with its mission: building safer sports programs by connecting schools with sports medicine, helping athletic trainers grow, protecting student-athletes and supporting communities. Working with high school athletes lets her do what she loves, help others and put others first. After her fellowship she plans to keep working in secondary schools and earn her teaching certification.
