Skye Hetherington is currently in her second year as an athletic training fellow with Athleticare.Sports Health Foundation. Skye is the head athletic trainer at Riverview Gardens High School (go rams!) and is currently studying for her masters in applied exercise science with an emphasis in human movement at Concordia Chicago. Skye is from Boise, Idaho where she received her bachelor’s in athletic training from Boise State University. No, ducks do not crash on the blue field (unless they’re from Oregon), but they do grow the best potatoes in the United States. In the future, Skye would like to teach sports medicine studies and be the head athletic trainer at a high school, preferably somewhere where she can make a difference in the community. In her spare time, Skye loves to bake her athletes and coworkers treats and watch football and/or hockey depending on the season.
