Dorian Orr is an experienced business leader and athlete, and brings to the board of Athleticare Sports Health Foundation a strong sense of business acumen, and a passion for youth sports. Dorian graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998 where he majored in German. While there, he entered the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) and commissioned into the USAF after graduation. During his time at SEMO Dorian competed as a high jumper on the SEMO track team, served as President of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and was also a campus Community Advisor.
After graduating he served 6 years in the Air Force. Dorian was then recruited by Microsoft in 2004. He took a Director’s role with Microsoft’s Cybersecurity team, blending his passion for security and services delivery. In 2012 he was selected to take on the role of Sr Director, User Experience on the America’s Enterprise Services Leadership team and in 2014 he was asked to expand his responsibilities to own User Experience for Microsoft’s entire Worldwide Services organization. During his spare time he has also worked with the US Anti-Doping Association. Dorian has over 15 years of leadership, business acumen, and passion for technology and on March 1, 2014 he celebrated his 10 year anniversary with Microsoft.
