ALLIE MELTON
Allie is from a small town called Serena, Illinois, where she attended Serena High School. Her mascot was a corn on the cob, or formally known as a “Husker”. Allie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, with a minor in Health Education from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. She chose to become an athletic trainer because she has always had a passion for athletics and wished to impact young athletes. Allie chose Athleticare Sports Health Foundation to gain experience in the secondary school setting while working towards a Master of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science, and hopes to gain many more opportunities during her stay in St. Louis. She is currently the Athletic Trainer at Northwest High School, located in Cedar Hill, MO. Go Lions! Allie is working towards a Sports Nutrition degree concentration and is studying to become a Certified Sports Nutritionist. She is also substitute teaching at the Northwest School District, which has inspired her to get her teaching credentials in the future.
When not on the Northwest sideline or doing homework, Allie enjoys spending nights with her cat, binge watching shows on Netflix and Hulu, and drinking coffee.
